Hello again. I'm gonna make this nice and simple. in RPG Maker 2000 they are Fork Conditions In 2003 they are Branch conditions. For more help, see the Help on the program. Anyway, all it does is check certain things that have happened in the game and then you can decide what happens. There is also an ELSE case which is what happens when the first thing hasn't happened. EXAMPLE You approach a door. Back a while ago was a key. Did you pick it up? What if you didn't? You can Fork to check if the hero has it on him, then say "you unlock the door" In the ELSE case would go: "You don't have the key". You can also use Fork Conditions to check who is in your party, what level they are, all the stats, what gold and items they have, what skills they have and lots more. Hope I helped...
