Hello, I'm here to teach you the basics on RPG Maker 2003. (Your translation may be different than the one I use, but the buttons and stuff are in the same places so don't worry.Starting a New ProjectClick Project, then New Project. A pop up like this will appear. Folder Name-This is the name of the folder your game goes into. Change it to something similar to your game name. Game Title-The name of your game. This will appear at the top of the window in non-full screen mode and on the PLAY button (called RTG_RT) Now click OK. You'll get a new MAP. A map is one area in your game. You can move between these maps. [example]You make 2 maps. One is a town. One is a house inside that town. You can make the Hero move between these two by placing a Teleport event, but we'll get to that later. This map is 100 x 100 "squares" long. It is also full of sea.
