Hi there I am having a problem making a person
give you money then display a message saying I cant give
you anymore money can some one help me
example of what I mean
Message Here is some money
change money +100
Message Sorry I cant give you anymore money
So what I mean is I dont want the person to give me any more money ;D thanx

;D Prehaps you should go "Erase Event" afterwards to prevent him from giving you any more money, but then when you leave the map he will reapper when you come back and will still be able to give you money.  Just try fooling around with the event interface, you should find something to do what you want.  |

Do you know how to use switches? To me, it seems as though a switch would help fix this problem. If not, someone on here can teach you how to use switches (such as me ). An example of a switchA switch is where you can make something happen when you've done something else. For example, when you talk to the money guy, you can make it activate a switch (let's call it moneyman_talk). Make a new page on the Event Layout by clicking the New Page button at the top. Then look to the left of the window. There are two switch options, timer options, variable, etc. Select a switch option, and choose the money guy switch. After that, make the guy say "I won't give you anymore money", or whatever. It's a complicated explanation, I realize, but if you follow it correctly, you should get the results you want. |
